What you will do:
Act as the primary Learning & Development contact and resource for Region/Division and Branch Managers
- Develop, coordinate and execute on training initiatives that have been identified as a priority at the Region level as well as assist with the coordination of nationally deployed training programs
- Participate in the development of strategy that directly align to Regional and National business strategy for Nutrien Ag Solutions
- Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine training needs and work quickly to identify, build and implement training solutions
- Deliver training in classroom, online, and on-the job where applicable. Provide flexibility in facilitation style for various types of delivery channels and effectively engage training participants from junior to senior levels
- Leverage and coordinate all delivery/facilitation resources necessary. May include regional subject matter experts, external consultants and/or other Nutrien L&D resources
- Coordinate and liaise with regional training staff to ensure consistent offerings across Retail geography
- Identify current regional based training initiatives for effectiveness and assist with cascading those initiatives into other regions
- Use talent analytics to understand trends and show progress in talent development and ROI
- Participate in the maintenance and utilization of learning management system including online course development, deployment and registration, report generation and utilization of analytical tools.
- Communicate program updates and information to key stakeholders.
- Manage training and development budget and make recommendations for future budgetary needs
- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6+ years' experience in Human Resources including in a Leadership and Development capacity
- Agriculture industry experience required
- Proven experience acting as a resource to various levels of leadership recommending learning initiatives to satisfy training gaps
- Ability to travel 10-25% max
