St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Supervisor - Clinical Operations who will supervise the Nuclear Medicine and CT areas. This position operates under the supervision of the Director - Clinical Operations and is accountable for promoting high quality patient care through efficient and effective management of defined areas. Development of staff to meet organizational and professional standards, modalities, division-wide and institutional planning that supports the philosophy of the department clinical operations, patient care services and the mission of St. Jude is an important part of this position. As the supervisor, you will have 24-hour accountability for your units and will provide the vital link between the administrative strategic plan and the point of care. Constantly working to implore cutting edge technologies, an exciting opportunity for this position is to help with newly implemented cardiac imaging. Lastly, the Supervisor will implement continual performance development by selecting and hiring qualified applicants, evaluating the performance of technologists, providing feedback, and mentoring.
Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with other teams to integrate high-quality patient care delivery efficiently and effectively
- Supporting the organization as a change agent, oversee the throughput of their respected areas, ensures competency and professional develop of staff to meet organizational and professional imaging standards
- Creating, monitoring, and analyzing the budget according to forecasts in future revenue and expenses
- Applying systems thinking knowledge as an approach to analysis and decision-making
- Required - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine program
- Required - A minimum of two years technical experience XR, CT, MRI, IR, NM or US
- Required - A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Required -(LC: ARRT-R) Registration in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT - R) or Certification as a Nuclear Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or Registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certification as a Sonographer from American Registry for Medical Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
- Preferred - (LC: ARRT-R) Registration in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT - R)-preferred in addition to NM or Ultrasound certification
