JOB DESCRIPTION
- Primarily focuses on negotiating contracts, processing purchase orders, evaluating data and supplier management.
- Requires a general understanding of purchasing policies and procedures, purchasing related laws, agency, legal and ethical obligations.
- Clear understanding of supplier terms and conditions.
- Ability to negotiate (tactics, techniques, and strategies).
- Working knowledge of how supply strategies fit into corporate strategies.
- Evaluates cost breakdowns to identify opportunities to reduce overall cost.
- Targets cost book management and impact of time value of money calculations.
- Executes commodity strategies.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Good time management and effectively works as a part team.
