Job Summary
The WorkWeek/Cycle Manager is an advanced level recognized by the organization as an expert in Outage/Work Management. Coordinates operations, maintenance, engineering and construction activities and establishes site work priorities. Provides scheduling support and designs support plans for site activities. Monitors progress of work, identifies problems, and revises plans and schedules as necessary to ensure safe and efficient execution. Creates plans that drive improvement through the organizations.
Key Accountabilities
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the process and ensures the organization complies with Outage and Work Management procedures and practices.
- Publish reports and critiques, monitor completion of action items and lessons learned.
- Develop and implement new concepts for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain long range plans for Fermi
- Serve as project manager on special assignments as necessary.
- Supervise personnel and/or activities during outage and online times to meet established milestones and objectives in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Science or related technical field and power plant experience as is normally acquired in 10 years
- OR Associates of Science degree or related technical field with 12 years power plant experience
- OR High school diploma or equivalent with 15 years related power plant experience.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience related to planning, scheduling or outage/work management.
Other Qualifications
Preferred
- Prior experience as a Control Room Supervisor, Workweek Supervisor or Outage Manager
Other Requirements
- Must be able to pass all phases of InProcessing including background investigation, psychological screening, appropriate training and be medically certifiable (drug and alcohol screen).
- Must be able to manage multiple work activities, which will include numerous urgent (time critical) tasks of varying priority.
- Must have a good working knowledge of the Fermi 2 organization, administrative procedures and a functional knowledge of the Fermi 2 plant.
