Order Processing Coordinator

Summary
The primary purpose of this position is the processing of incoming sales orders while working in a team to provide support of all order processing functions. This position will be responsible for the accurate, timely review and documentation of customer order confirmations while performing other assigned duties to effectively support the company and department goal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter and process customer orders
- Ensure all required documents for order processing are obtained and accurate
- Manage the orders from entry into the system through shipment of product and follow up
- Escalate issues to management as necessary
- Responsible for accurate and timely invoicing all orders and maintain current information in the system
- Provide administrative support in the preparation and processing of orders
- Provide assistance in managing all order processing functions
- Communicate with outside sales reps and end customers by phone and e-mail
- Assist outside sales reps and customers with status of orders, project information and drawings
- Be the point of contact for internal resources (engineering, drafting, quality, marketing)
- Effectively work with other departments including, engineering, drafting, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, finance and inside sales
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- Customer service experience including the capacity to manage several projects from order entry through shipping of the product
- High School Diploma or equivalent, minimally required
Travel
This position requires minimal to no travel
Computer Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
- Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
Other Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate through both e-mail and telephone
- Capability to learn technical aspects of our products
- Understanding of business math concepts including discounting, commissions and percentages
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Able to prioritize and work to meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread own work
