REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Microsoft Windows environments and operating systems, which includes experience with onsite and/or Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Office 365 administration, Windows 10 and Office applications
- Basic network concepts and structure, including DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Basic principles regarding budgets and expenditures
- VOIP telecommunications systems, smart phones, imaging/printing devices, and current hardware and software standards
SKILL TO:
- Type, enter data, file efficiently and operate office equipment
- Exercise problem-solving, critical thinking and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrate initiative, project management, organization and attention to detail
- Demonstrate proficiency in relevant software and applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
ABILITY TO:
- Relate to a diverse population which includes a variety of age, economic and educational backgrounds
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate customer service focus, with the ability to relate and interact with all levels of the organization and vendors

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT-related field, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge
- Valid MI Driver’s License and clean driving record
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical Requirements:
Push or pull up to 100 pounds, lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. Environmental Working Requirements:
Work is done in an office environment with exposure to computer screens, with some exposure to clinical/residential environments. Assignments may require work to be done on an individual basis or in teams with members at various staffing levels. The work environment is that of a crisis center and may subject staff to behavioral and medical events that could be physically hazardous.
Other Requirements:
The ability to work various shifts and irregular hours; Some local travel required; The Director or their approved designee is responsible to answer the Common Ground cell phone or texts 24/7 for emergencies unless planned back up is arranged for times when the director is unavailable (e.g. vacation).
