SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Operations Analyst develops meaningful analysis and insights to drive optimized operations and supply chain management. He/she is responsible for ensuring consistency and accuracy of these analyses through active management and control of the master data used for analyses, working closely with commodity managers, manufacturing site supply chain professionals, and other functional and operations leaders. He/she would be responsible for the growth of our productivity tool kit and the evolution of our productivity forecasting tool. He/she would work with operations leadership to assist in monthly development of the supply plan. He/She would also work to help to create reports for variable contribution. He/she would also be a valuable member of the supply chain team using standards to develop safety stock quantities and assisting in the evolution of our Inventory strategy.
The Operations Analyst role requires a strong analytical aptitude, supply chain conceptual awareness, and operations acumen, and drive to provide meaningful insights to enable meaningful change and improvement in operational performance.SHIFT

- Develops, deploys and supports productivity tools
- Owns the development of the productivity tool kit.
- They are responsible for troubleshooting discoveries and working with IT on new solutions.
- They are responsible for evolving the forecasting of our productivity tool kit. This will involve the inclusion of all NPI, continuous improvement projects, time off, and understanding of our sites.
- Support key operational initiatives through creation of dashboards or reporting tools. To include but not limited to:
- Inventory and safety stock strategy
- Inventory control and visibility tools
- PPV and cost tracking
- Project pipelines
- Integrated business planning
- Develops meaningful Analysis and Insights
- Establishes and maintains a set of master data required to provide accurate and consistent analyses in line with overall supply chain strategies, especially around inventory reporting.
- Creates dashboards and visualizations of pertinent information to provide meaningful insights to the business in real time.
- Works with commodity managers, manufacturing site supply chain professionals, and other functional and operations leaders to ensure relevancy and drive action from analyses.
- Leads and develops team members following the One Orchid global talent management approach to select, manage, and develop our best team. Ensures the growth of our positive business culture through behaviors that align with our core values and leadership competencies.
- Supports quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
WORK EXPERIENCE
2+ Years of experience in data analytics (Required), Demonstrated results in developing talent, organizational strategies, and management systems in a high revenue growth environment (Preferred)., Experience with data analysis and dashboarding processes and tools, specifically Power BI, MS Excel, and data warehousing solutions (Required), Experience with supply chain and supplier management (Preferred)EDUCATION

- This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely moves about the facility to check-up on team members' progress and frequently operates a computer or other machinery as required.
