Description Position Summary: The IT Planning & Analysis Leader will be responsible for working with the Global Labs and QA business teams as their trusted advisor and enable of technologies and innovation that will enable business growth and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The Leader is a part of the global IT leadership team, reporting to the Chief Information Officer. Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Supports the development and implementation of the NSF Information Technology strategy for global labs and QA functions. Ensures financial and operational goals are achieved and aligned with customer expectations and the NSF strategy, mission and values.
- Responsible for the business engagement, planning, assessment and effective adoption of IT systems and leading business analysis at the project level.
- Participate in the continued organizational transformation within the Labs from an internal service business model to an external profit/loss center.
- Assists in the development and management of NSF systems architecture, policies and protocols for communication and data exchange, and integration or connection of business information systems.
- Ensures the system portfolio meets quality standards and defined performance targets, assigning resources and equipment as needed in order to deliver projects according to plan. Ensures collaboration across internal and external team members including vendors and contractors to ensure speed and efficiency of deliverables.
- Develops a culture of engaged, high performing, developed and accountable talent to support the organization. Ensures teams are empowered to meet and exceed goals through performance management, leadership development, and business acumen. Attracts and retains the best talent through effective recruiting, coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications Experience: - Experience leading an IT function/team, preferably in a global organization laboratory/QA environment
- Demonstrated experience translating requirements into deliverables in an Agile/Scrum delivery model. Experience with SDLC activities expected to deliver custom applications and Agile Requirements Methods
- Demonstrated experience with applications systems analysis and applying SDLC development methodology and a business processing model
- Experience developing and implementing IT strategy
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships, understand customer needs and deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with the mission and goals
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a project team to achieve goals, budgets and timelines
- Demonstrated experience in allocating resources and managing expenses to meet budget
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, including selecting and developing talent, building trust, coaching team members and managing performance resulting in high performing teams

- Demonstrated ability to learn and respond quickly to organizational needs, demonstrating resiliency in various situations, and adapting quickly to changing needs of the business

- Working knowledge lab equipment and integration with IT infrastructure and security
- Working knowledge of commercial labs ERP and management systems, in particular Labware and other LIMS
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
