The Digital Solutions Team
The Digital Solutions Team within Global Business Solutions is passionate about enabling digital solutions that empower our business partners to derive immediate value from innovative tools and technology. Our objective is to connect the business to underlying data assets & tools for analytics, predictive modeling, and automation to generate business value and efficiency. Develop customer centric solutions for our strategic partners based on need, complexity, and process maturity. And upskill our workforce to leverage the latest digital tools to drive efficiencies in their daily activities. And collaborate with our global service centers to scale our impact.
As a Member of the Team
Business Engagements
* You will lead analytical projects from conception to completion with high velocity and quality, be cognizant of status, roadblocks and pace of project throughout and escalate as necessary to ensure success and on-time delivery to business partners.
* Plan and execute concurrent projects, complete individual contributor technical tasks, and provide technical coaching for the work of cross-functional team members
* You will translate the needs of business customers to technical requirements for Data Scientist, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and IT teams
* You will 'tell the story' on insights that enables strategic and operational decisions
Utilize Creative Thinking to Support the Customer
* Digital future-proofing - Leverage digital tools for desktop automation, Develop dashboard visualizations to enable exploratory and targeted data driven insights on strategic and operational decisions
* Predictive modeling - Develop predictive models for proactive business impact as you learn more about your business partner's data, operations, and strategic direction
* Digital Upskilling - On the job digital upskilling for self and leverage expertise to train the community
Additional Job Description
Qualifications and Experience
* 2+ years of experience translating business needs to analytic solutions, influencing through turning raw data into compelling stories, and completing the project life cycle through achieving measurable outcomes.
* This person must have a highly flexible skillset to juggle a range of tasks, including, but not limited to, enabling business goals, internal communications, ad hoc analysis, coordination and leadership of projects, and contributions to team culture
* Demonstrated ability to evaluate the big picture to shape and solve immediate business problems balancing rigor with speed (the 80-20 rule)
* Demonstrated ability to work in an internal or external consulting role with proven ability to effectively execute projects and deliver results
* Descriptive Analytics: Creating and deploying reports BI reports: PowerBI Cognos, etc.
* Programming languages: SQL, Java, Python, R, .Net, or etc.
