We are hiring multiple shipping & receiving positions at a local and well multiple compaines in and around Grand Rapids. All shifts available and competitive pay!
1st shift 6:00am - 2:00pm
2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm
3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:00am
*May be required to work overtime based on business needs!*
Job Description:
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company
- Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
- Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
- Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
Qualifications:
- Must have previous shipping and receiving experience
- Must be able to train on 1st shift for 3 to 4 weeks
- Must be able to drive a hi-lo for 8 hours out of the day
- Must be able to get on and off the hi-lo throughout their shift
- Will be scanning product with a scanner
- Will be loading and unloading trucks
- Will be organizing warehouse
- Will be prepping product for shipment
- Will be required to obtain a hi-lo license
