Alight's research team is looking for a Research Senior Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day activities that drive Alight's wealth (defined contributions/401K) research. The ideal candidate will be able to take a research piece from thought to publication by collecting and analyzing data, determining conclusions, and drafting reports and other communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data and external research to identify potential patterns; this includes data mining, and summarizing findings.
- Collaborate with research team and wealth leaders on research reports and ad hoc requests.
- Use technology (e.g. Excel, Access, Tableau) to review data, perform calculations and understand results.
- Prepare thought leadership pieces. Manage projects from end-to-end and allocate work to other team members appropriately.
- Be able to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3-5 or more years in the retirement industry.
- Experience with Tableau software desirable, but not required.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, and manage tasks
- Ability to effectively plan and assign work and manage projects from start to completion
Education
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
