- Current R.N. licensure to practice in the State of
- At least one (1) year of professional experience in Maternal Child Healthcare: obstetrics, prenatal health care management, is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Indian Health Programming and local Tribal
- Ability to work with, and respect, cultural and racial differences.
- Working knowledge of community resources related to health and human services, maternal and child health, and family
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records and comply with HIPPA
- Working knowledge of general office and clerical practices, good organizational, verbal, and written skills, and strong computer skills, including word processing and electronic file
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver's license, be insurable, and must sign the KBIC Driving Record check form .
- Must be willing to travel locally and out of town as
- Previous experience working with Native American populations or organizations is
- Must be willing to work occasional evenings/weekends.
- Must be able to obtain a satisfactory clearance in accordance with the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act Background Investigations Policy.
