Job Description
The print systems project manager provides leadership as a primary contact for digital print solutions including digital print systems, infrastructure, and applications.They will provide support for digital print related installation, issues, upgrades, license management, performance enhancements, as well as, documentation for: architecture designs, workflows, and migration/contingency plans.They will also provide training materials and training for digital print operators upon request.

1.The print systems project manager will administer and troubleshoot "on-site" and "remote" print systems such as:
a.Solimar,
b.Free Flow Core,
c.Emtex (PIEM),
d.BARR,
e.and other print associated systems.
2.Possess customer management skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
3.Can demonstrate the ability to independently manage a large service territory (includes effective management of assets i.e. parts, tools, company information)
4.Can demonstrate ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software problems at the component level
5.Have the ability to provide telephone technical support and to effectively communicate (telephone and email) with Product Service Engineers (Hardware and Applications)
6.Possess a working knowledge of RIPS, color theory, a plus. Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems knowledge preferred.
7.Have a working knowledge of materials and chemicals used in the printing industry, highly desirable
8.Possess in-depth knowledge of personal computers, industrial inkjet printers, large format printers and/or presses and printing applications, highly desirable.
9.Knowledge of high and low voltage wiring, capability of identifying and qualifying single phase as well as three phase power requirements
10.Ability to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude including using critical alignment tools holding tolerances of .001"
Requirements:
*3+ years of experience in printer systems administration, configuration, and setup.
*A strong understanding of printer technologies, equipment, and networking with trouble shooting skills.
*Will work remotely with customers to accurately identify equipment issues and provide technical information and repair guidance in order to pinpoint the necessary solutions to reported issues.
*Participate in after-hours support activities as needed.
