Job Summary
An EDM operator electronically burns carbon over the core of housing to achieve size and finish.
Essential Job Functions
- Mills electrode from program made to cut on Trodemaster
- Checks electrode for size and defects after it is cut.
- Checks steel before loading onto EDM sinker. Centers electrode over core, puts in program and burns to achieve proper finish.
- Checks and cleans part before sending it to Bridgeport mills to inspect before going to finish bench.
- Uses gauge pins and micrometers to guarantee quality standards are met.
- Other duties include housekeeping to ensure a safe and productive working atmosphere and others specified by supervision
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to complete basic math functions.
- Computer skills
- Communication skills

STATUS: Full Time/Hourly Non-Exempt (40 hrs./week; additional hours as needed to support organization and individual goals)
