Position: Welder Fitter
Shift: Day Shift
Essential Responsibilities:
- Set-up and Tig weld various gages of steel and aluminum without a fixture.
- Set-up and operate welding machines.
- Read decimals, tape measure.
- Read blue prints and following welding processes and procedures as required.
- Use calipers, height gages, and micrometer.
- Adhere to safety standards.
- Welding aluminum and steel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Related experience or vocational training.
- Hand to eye coordination.
- Technical capacity.
- Ethical conduct.
- Willingness to support other departments.
- Team oriented.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, in excess of 8 hours.
- Life and/or carry at least 50 pounds.
- Frequent walking, reaching with hands and arms; stooping, bending, twisting, squatting and kneeling.
- Moderate to high noise level.
