This position is part of our Advance Safety and User Experience segment and is located in Troy, Michigan.
Summary:
The Global Accounts Receivable Analyst will work in conjunction with divisional Global Accounts Receivable Manager to support the Order to Cash process (including collections, deductions, and cash applications), with the shared services organization and other functional teams. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Responsibilities:
Monitor the timely collection and application of account receivable collections
Identify procedural or executional issues and assist in the development of remediation plans
Identify and implement process efficiency improvements
Monitor customer deductions for correct application and timely clearance from customer accounts in accordance with established procedures
Offer support for the following tasks:
Cash receipt forecasting as needed
Monthly closing activities
Monthly receivable collections results to achieve optimal cash flow and performance targets
Issuance of manual invoices, including review of data and terms and follow-up with Sales
Cash application to ensure accurate and efficient application of cash receipts
Development and implementation of process improvement opportunities
Development and implementation of new (and or improved) department processes and procedures as needed
Escalation of activities for overdue receivables as needed
Monthly and month-end reporting activities to ensure all requirements are met timely and reported accurately
Ensure strong internal controls process over the Order to Cash Process
Provide support and process innovation ideas to cross-functional team supporting the Order to Cash process
Review customer account reconciliations and related journal entries.
