At Genisys Credit Union, we value our employees who are essential to our ongoing growth and success as a financial institution of choice. We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Mortgage Sales Assistant at our Home Office in Auburn Hills.
POSITION PURPOSE
The primary focus of this role will be to assist in the Mortgage Sales/Production processes. However, MSA's may from time to time be called upon to assist in any area of the Mortgage or Home Equity Lending process when volume dictates, or load balancing is necessary.
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Assist members and Mortgage Consultants (MC's) both in-person and via phone to produce and collect necessary mortgage and or home equity application documents.
- Answer questions on mortgage and home equity products.
- Order services required in the mortgage lending process such as Appraisal and Title insurance.
- Runs tracking reports and follows up on missing documents.
- Generate Mortgage Loan Disclosures and/or follow-up with members for signatures, ensuring disclosure compliance guidelines are met.
- Ensure members are notified of their loan approval and helps them register on the Genisys website to get status updates and upload documents. Assist members with any technical challenges they have in getting set-up to receive notifications.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- NMLS Certification required
- Six months or one year of related experience and/or training.
Skills/Abilities:
- Good verbal and public relations skills.
- Strong typing abilities.
- Good basic math skills.
- Well organized.
