This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment and is located in Troy, Michigan.
Summary:
The Production Control and Logistics Manager position is responsible for all material procurement, storage and delivery on site and at 3rd party locations, shipping and receiving. In addition, they are responsible for overall plant scheduling, forecasting and capacity planning.
The role will report to the Global PC&L Director & Regional Operations Director.

The successful candidate will possess proven world-class experience in managing large and global supply chain organizations through high growth periods. He/she will be a broad-based leader who possesses a strong combination of technical savy and strategic skills. Specific experience in organizational transformation will be key to success in this role. He/She will be recognized for developing organizational capability and talent depth in support of growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate key functional competencies; strategy development and application, execution, planning, scheduling control, supply chain management, project management, lean management, enabling technology application, process improvement/ six sigma.
A strong focus on customer satisfaction, sense of urgency and bias for action are unwavering requirements for this role. 25% travel to Mexico will be required.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement demand driven supply chain strategy
Developed and deploy value chain maturity assessment and corresponding best practices
Coordinate internal manufacturing and external supplier activities to meet cost, schedule and performance metrics. Creation and maintenance of plants production schedule
Inventory accuracy including oversight and planning for physical inventory.
Continuous process improvement within all areas of responsibility.
Effectively build and manage supplier relations
Deliver world-class customer satisfaction levels in quality, on-time delivery and launch excellence
Integrate effectively with other functions to meet the needs of the business at each flow
Oversee scheduling, purchasing, shipping and receiving staff
Attract, develop and retain high potential employees to achieve long-term and sustainable growth
Need to Haves (Basic Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Material Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or any associated field or equivalent level of experience
Experience in leadership positions within supply chain area in a global high-tech manufacturing or software company
Strong supplier management/relationship skills
Experience in transformation and change management with an innovative, flexible and proactive approach
