Provide software program mananagement support, to include planning, executing, monitoring, and coordinating the development and sustainment for Army robotic systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Inform and participate in preparation/execution of program plans, documentation, schedules, budgets, and milestones necessary for the planning and execution of the assigned Army robotic programs.
Apply in-depth knowledge of computer systems and operating systems software, software architecture, high order programming languages, and knowledge of accepted computer science technologies and methodologies.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering plus a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Professional knowledge of the principles, theories, and methodology of software engineering, software development, and computer science, to provide Life-Cycle Software Engineering (LCSE) services.
Good understanding of software assurance and cyber security concepts as they apply to software.
Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to provide high quality support and customer service to the Government customer in a high visibility position.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong interpersonal abilities, including ability to tactfully negotiate resolution to competing programmatic demands and requirements.
Travel as required.
Desired Skills:
Department of Defense (DoD) Acquistion Experience.
Experience working with GVSC, PEO CS&CSS, PEO C3T and/or related PM offices within the Army Materiel Command or DoD
Experience with robotics systems.
Experience with U.S. DoD communications equipment.
