The Opportunity
This position is in the Research & Development (R&D) group. This role is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and disassembly tasks including, but not limited to, test, cleaning of parts, and rework of components, and container and engine preparation for shipment. Assignments are typically accomplished by following process plans, general work instructions, or engine manuals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, the ability to read and interpret sketches or drawings, good penmanship and the ability to read/or use inspection equipment are required.
- Gas turbine engine experience and an A&P mechanics license required.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs from 4 inches to 25 inches (one rep). Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs. Must be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- Responsible for and accountable for the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
