Each team member is important to our daily operations, when one person is gone it can cause multiple people to fall short of their daily goals and nobody wants that.Mechanical aptitude and previous industrial experience in operating equipment is a strong plus, specifically in Aluminum Die Cast machines. Must work safely and efficiently to make production rates to get parts to our customers on time. Safety is a 24/7 commitment at Pace. We want you going home to your family each day feeling the same or better than when you came in.Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities•Shipping and Receiving duties:•Ensure the fulfillment of the established safety rules.•Monitor customer orders in Odyssey and WebPortals•Prepare product for vendor and intercompany shipments•Stage loads•Accurately dock audit incoming and outgoing loads•Create shipment paperwork•Create shipment labels•Schedule internal and external logistics •Send ASN's•Unload anything off trucks and reload shipments•Warehouse:•Ensure the fulfillment of the established safety rules•Service production department with regard to supply and retrieval of dunnage as needed. •Properly put product where designated•Complete inventories as requested•Communicate with other PCG plants for product and/or packaging needs•Organize product according to standard staging practices•Maintain cleanlinessPlease note that the duties and requirements described herein are intended to represent general contents of this job. Position Requirements •High school diploma or GED equivalent.•Comfortable working in a fast pace environment.•Needs strong basic math skills, computer savvy, and good problem solving.•Must have valid driver license.•Must have good communication and people skills•Must be safety conscious.Work Hours:1st shift - 7:00am-7:00pm.
