In collaboration with the Registered Nurse (RN), provides safe, quality care for patients/residents according to individualized care plan that supports patient/resident outcomes. Treats all patients/residents with dignity and respect. Know, follow and maintain resident rights. Assists with over sight of non-clinical and support staff personnel.
(20)* Assesses patient health care needs, nursing care requirements and the delivery of nursing care for all assigned patient, recognizing the specific individual needs of the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in Performance Improvement as required by MidMichigan Health and the job description.
Understands and is accountable for MidMichigan Health’s customer service standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND SKILLS:
Basic Life Support Required.
State of Michigan Registered Nurse License Required.
Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors preferred.
Operates equipment as outlined on orientation checklists, policy and procedures.
Participates in equipment inservices and competencies as they relate to role expectations.
Performs job skills outlined on orientation checklist as they relate to role expectations.
Previous direct patient care experience preferred.
Medical terminology or related experience preferred.
