The Role
The Operations Manager - Adhesives will be expected to work closely with customers, internal team members, and salespeople to determine customer needs and develop innovative solutions accordingly. The Operations Manager must be a leader, capable of directing and motivating cross-functional teams to accomplish all planned activities from RFQ to full commissioning. This position will be responsible to meet or exceed the goals to deliver adhesive equipment; on Budget, on Time, and to a Quality standard that gives the customer the highest level of Customer Satisfaction.

What we expect of you*
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* Conduct oneself in a highly professional manner.
* Meet or Exceed the goals of the organization relative to adhesive projects
* Provide a safe working environment for all employees
* Deliver adhesive systems to our customer on time and at the quality level required
* Provide guidance and leadership on 5S systems
* Ability to analyze performance (efficiency, inventory, quality, safety)
* Creation of working plans in conjunction with team members
* Direct team members to establish budgets and monitor project cost performance through the entire project.
* Conduct strategic project planning and regular project review meetings with internal and external customers.
* Coordinate activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget, and quality levels.
* Prepare status reports and schedules (Excel, Workfront, and/or MS Project) or plans as required.
* Identify Risks associated with projects. Develop and communicate plans to handle the risk with internal and external customers.
* Coordinate with team members part tryout, runoff procedures, installation and post-job reviews.
* Confer with appropriate personnel to provide technical support and to resolve open issues.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
* Individual must be a highly motivated, capable self-starter
* Must be able to demonstrate successful performance with independent problem solving, presentations, leadership and multitasking within and across departments to meet changing deadlines
* Excellent oral, written and organizational communication skills plus strong interpersonal skills are required.
* Must be able to work in a team environment, and have the ability to chair meetings.
* Ability to work with advanced mathematical concepts, and have a high level of analytical ability.
* Ability to technically define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and specifications in written, mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS in Businesss or Engineering
* 2 years of demonstrated success in leadership role
