DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Hourly Position
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the setup and changeover of manufacturingequipment. Will work with and train general operators in the basics of set-upas it relates to changeovers. Assistwith trouble shooting, help run line, PM fixtures/equipment, while promotingsafe work habits.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement all equipment change-over safely.
Train others in the basics of setup and become actively involved in improvement teams.
Provide setup and change-over support, ensuring that all quality standards are met.
Be available on all three shifts to complete the training program successfully.
Resolve processing problems through effective troubleshooting.
Provide daily support of Standard Work and LEAN initiatives.
Perform General Operator duties, in an assigned department, making parts in the G.O. rotation.
REQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED
Basic Reading and Comprehension
Basic Math skills
1 year Manufacturing Experience, 3+ years preferred
6 months to 1 year Set-up Experience, 2+ preferred
Ability to organize work under constant demands.
Ability to work effectively alone or in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to logically reason and apply the problem solving process
Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form
Ability to emulate strong interpersonal skills and effectively interact with people
Ability to accept constructive criticism for the purpose ofprofessional development
Proficiency in utilizing in house measurement equipment.
Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred-must be willing to train in these areas immediately.
Machine technician certification preferred-must be willing to train in these areas immediately.
