Manages electrical design, programming, commissioning, and startup of automatic conveyor systems for auto industry use; designs, writes, and troubleshoots Programmable Logic Controller Software, writes code, tests, runs simulations, and adheres to GM G-12 Software standards; reviews and improves logistics and material flow; performs cost analysis and production coordination; designs Human-Machine Interface Screens that allow plant personnel to operate automated systems, including touch screens; commissions internal systems, including debugging system software and provides engineering support; performs warranty work as needed; and Configures Variable Frequency Drives to improve design efficiency.
