Position Summary
Medical Assistants provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to deliver quality of care to our patients. Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to care team
- Prepare patient for provider, collect medical history, and take vitals
- Document patient visits and complete referrals
- Perform clerical tasks such as answer patient calls, monitor in-basket, and generate reports
- Includes other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Education - High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience - Successful completion of a competency based orientation program
Medical Assistant- certified as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or registered as a Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) within 120 Days of Hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 Days of Hire
