Vehicle Power Software Engineer
The Challenge:

As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We're looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build embedded software products for military applications from vision to production-ready systems.
This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and collaborate with teammates. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:
- Experience in working hands-on-hardware with integrated software and hardware development team in the lab and remotely accessing equipment
- Experience with one of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, or Java
- Experience with documenting all aspects of code development and creating code flowcharts
- Experience with C2000 Series Digital Signal Processors
- Experience with TI Code Composer Studio or Eclipse
- Experience with CAN J1939 Interfacing and messaging
- Knowledge of embedded software development life cycle processes and applications
- Ability to model, architect, design, develop, code, integrate, test, and manage software solutions to provide and sustain operational capabilities within systems and vehicles
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- BA or BS degree in Engineering or CS
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with motor drive, converter system, and power converter algorithm implementation
- Experience with Graphical User Interface Development, including Python, web development, C, or Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Bit Bucket
- Knowledge of interfacing to Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, and STMicroelectronics componentry
- Ability to apply program management, project management, risk management, and value management techniques and principles to determine and optimize cost, schedule, and performance parameters from development to fielding for software products
- Ability to develop and execute software and electronics life cycle management, development, transition, and sustainment and support plans
- Secret clearance
