What you will do:
- Build and establish customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Be responsible for opening accounts, consumer loans, home equity lines of credit, referrals to business partners and operation of a cash drawer.
- Originate loan applications, make recommendations for approval or denial, and obtain applicable loan documents for successful loan closings. Fully documents loan applications prior to submitting for loan approval (notes, ratios, assets, liabilities, employment, etc.).
- Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash checks, credit card and line of credit advances. Process IRA transactions, demonstrate online banking and Bill Pay to customers; handle debit card requests.
- Recognize and educate customers on opportunities to enhance their banking experience.
- Promotes the bank's products and services by generating leads and referrals to contribute the bank office sales goals and objectives.
- Process daily teller area operations including cashier's checks, ATMs, night depository, and perform select overrides.
- Sustain standards and accuracy.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all consumer products and services.
- Uphold confidentiality and security guidelines.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
What you will bring to the table:
- 1 - 3 Years' experience in function/industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking and service to support customer needs as well as knowledge of current technology and the ability to easily navigate multiple software environments.
- Professional appearance, the ability to build a rapport with customers, and enjoy working with people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Strong attention to details and accuracy.
- Cash handling and basic math skills.
- The ability to make quick decisions, diffuse difficult customer situations and customer concerns.
- NMLS registration required
