The 2021 Clean Air Commercial Sales & Marketing Intern Position (Summer Term) opportunity islocated at our EngineeringCenter in Grass Lake, Michigan.
The primary focus of the Student Program is toprovide hands-on learning and real world experience to students interested in acareer in Commercial Sales & Marketing. By developing product knowledge,problem solving and technical support, students participating in Tenneco's StudentProgram provide invaluable assistance to Tenneco's Commercial Sales &Marketing community.
This position will support the Clean Air business unitof Tenneco.
Possibleresponsibilities include:
Assist with collection and organization of data
Analysis of data (market, customer, competitor)
Actively monitor supplier portals, websites and databases for research needs
Participate in strategic account planning phase of project
Support customer communication & interactions in support of project
Required Skills:
Must be able to work independently and in a team based environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Effective time management skills
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
REQUIREMENTS:MinimumQualifications:
Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accreditedinstitution
Student with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship periodMay-August 2021
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license
Ability to provide own transportation to/from the job site
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
PreferredQualifications:
Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's in Sales, Business, SupplyChain, Technical Sales, Applied Engineering systems or Engineering
Student with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
