As the Senior Compensation Analyst, you will support the LTL Compensation function in the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs and policies. This role will provide expertise around compensation including compensation models, methodologies and analytics. This role is critical in positioning XPO for long-term success.

What you'll do on a typical day:
Collaborate in the maintenance and development of our compensation system including building formal salary ranges, assisting with creation of new processes for salary increases and administration, determining our approach to variable pay, and helping to provide education for leaders and individual contributors as it relates to the LTL business.
Perform financial modeling to ensure viability of programs.
Build compensation metrics, reports and tools to inform compensation program decisions and analyze business outcomes.
Evaluate competitive practices, assess the business' position to market, and make recommendations to ensure that these plans are cost competitive and support the company's mission, values, and achievement of business objectives.
Supports HR Business Partners and department leaders around appropriate guidance regarding pay decisions, policies and job evaluation.
Support the gathering of insights by researching and networking with other companies to keep abreast of best practices and trends in compensation.
Support creation of materials to effectively communicate compensation programs, policies and practices to employees and leaders.
Manage participation in annual compensation surveys for Johanson, Willis Towers Watson, Mercer, MarketPay and CompAnalyst.
Support the administration of the annual process for salary increases for LTL including system set-up, validation of data and distribution of reports.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years related compensation experience
Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, advanced Excel abilities to create complex formulas and queries
It'd be great if you also have:
Masers degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or similar related field
CCP credentials
3 years related experience
Strong aptitude for understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources.
