Job Description
Electrician
- Support production operations for all maintenance and repairs for electrical problems on a variety of machines such as but not limited to robots, CNC lathes, mills, conveyors, induction heating equipment and forging presses.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound PLC troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology.
- Work from available drawings and equipment specifications and schematics.
- Perform preventive, predictive and routine inspection maintenance.
- Select materials and operate equipment to complete work including electrical hand tools, conduit bending equipment, megger insulation tester and voltage or ampere measuring devices
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Follow all applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
- Follow all MIOSHA and AAM safety rules.
Required Skills and Education
Minimum 8 years work experience in a similar role ideally in production orientated environment, with emphasis on presses and machine automation.
Experience with relay logic, motors, motor starters and control circuits for AC & DC Motors.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work as a team or independently with little supervision.
Shift flexibility is essential.
Preferred
PLC experience with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc
