Looking for individual who has some experience with straightening and or machining. You will be straightening small Investment Castings prior to machining. We have a couple of hydraulic presses and vises along with ground spacing blocks to use on the various jobs. Attention to detail is a must.
This job requires you to be able to read blueprints and use inspection tools such as indicators, micrometers and calipers. Mechanical aptitude is a must and is patience. These are small castings some with a tolerance of +/-.003.
Tools are provided. The shop is air conditioned. A 40 hour work week is normal.
Hourly Pay
Pay is $15-$18 DOE, and performance during the probation period
40 hour work week is typical.
Job Requirement
- Must be on time and work scheduled hours
- Have his/her own reliable transportation for getting to and from work
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to read metrology equipment
