DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer for our Greenville, Michigan plant to contribute to our Powertrain - Bearings business unit. In this role you will be responsible for managing IATF / customer requirements, auditing programs, management review, corrective actions, warranty, monitoring customer portals, and document control. Our top candidate will have at least three years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing Tier 1 or OEM environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manages IATF certification requirements by facilitating internal and external audits per IATF requirements and providing external auditors all data for finding(s) closure on time, as well as ensuring audit findings are addressed.
- Facilitates Control Plan and PFMEA audits for accuracy.
- Manages customer specifications by managing and scheduling internal Layer Process Audits (LPA), managing customer score cards and scheduling annual layouts per requirements.
- Assures global documents are communicated to the organization and implemented locally.
- Manages control of documents throughout the facility.
- Acts as System Administrator for Compliant Pro.
- Performs random audits to verify latest document revision.
REQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Quality or Engineering related field highly preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing Tier 1 or OEM environment.
- Six Sigma Certification preferred.
