DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tenneco is one of the world's largest pure-play powertrain companies serving OE markets worldwide with engineered solutions addressing fuel economy, power output, and criteria pollution requirements for gasoline, diesel and electrified powertrains.
We are looking for a Focused Factory Manager (Operations Manager) for our Litchfield, Michigan plant to contribute to our Clean Air business unit. You will lead the operations of a large cross functional team within one of the business units of the plant, including all team members and leaders in quality, engineering, production planning, and continuous improvement to support internal and external customers. Our top candidate will have strong proven experience supervising manufacturing operations within a large plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Champion the development of the people, processes, and capabilities within the Focused Factory.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPI's.
- Advance continuous improvement activities using Lean tools.
- Create a culture of zero in the Focused Factory - zero accidents, zero defects, zero later orders and zero waste.
- Ensure products are manufactured on time and according to customer quality requirements to ensure the customer delivery schedule is met.
- Plans and manages delivery requirements, inventory levels, labor productivity and asset utilization.
REQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Business discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience supervising manufacturing operations in a high volume environment.
- At least 5 years of experience carrying out CI tasks within similar environment.
- Automotive industry experience highly preferred.
