DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
DUTIES: Collaborating with other integration and functional teams and work on strategies, standards and guidelines for Federal Mogul SAP Process Integration (PI) environment. Upgrading the hardware, database and application of the PI environment and migrating all objects to the latest PO - Process Orchestration. Proposing the integration design architecture via middleware for implementation projects. Understanding functional processes; contributing to design and functional capability of applications; and working with functional specialists to ensure solution design and integrity. Reviewing functional design specifications, converting into technical design specifications and developing SAP PI maps based on the specifications. Work closely with application developers or business partners to ensure end-to-end scenario delivery. Participating in the Global Roll-Out of developed applications and helping ensure the on time delivery of solutions. Maintaining and developing documentation for responsible area. Preparing and providing status updates of assigned project plans and schedules. Offering new ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement. Supervising 3-4 SAP PI offshore consultants.
REQUIREMENTS:REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering required. Six (6) years of experience in job offered or related position in SAP PI required. Experience must include: PI architecture and PI adapter framework; analyzing, designing, developing and supporting PI related integration between SAP ECC with other SAP and non-SAP components/systems; completing at least one major project with full life cycle implementation; managing system landscape directory for PI; understanding network architecture, network security, and communication protocols; implementing collaborative processes using FILE, IDOC, RFC, MAIL, JDBC and HTTP adapters, as well as utilizing PROXY and Value Mapping Replication technologies; monitoring and supporting integration scenarios, and ability to fix errors quickly and effectively; utilizing Java skills and UDFs in message mapping; providing technical advice, code reviews and assistance to other programmers; and knowledge of SAP R/3 and ALE configuration.
