DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities
We are hiring an individual who has experience in enabling, fostering, and mentoring continuous improvement cross-functionally within Dematic. We are now hiring for a Sr. Value Engineering Manager to support Project Execution in the North American region. This role will plan and administer VAVE principles, tools, and methodologies in a variety of Global Project Engineering, Project Management and Installation process, and ensuring attainment of department strategic goals.
Role & Responsibilities
* Aligns the focus of Value Analysis and Value Engineering efforts with the objectives and strategies of NA Project Execution functions
* Deploys VAVE program for the NA project execution organization to achieve total cost improvement goals
* Leads and/or support Value Engineering projects utilizing Society of American Value Engineers (SAVE) value methodologies across all phases of customer project
* Sets process metric goals in partnership within Project Execution groups and decision makers to provide VAVE improvement in the project lifecycle
* Perform detailed analyses that confirm technical feasibility and validate the cost-savings potential of change-proposals while ensuring quality-system compliance
* Strong understanding of Master Validation, including Validation Master Planning, Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification.
* Develop and present change- proposals that include technical descriptions, preliminary risk profile, estimates of cost-savings, resource requirements and key implementation milestones.
* Working knowledge of the functional interaction required between the product development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance functions in order to achieve cost reductions
* Completes complex projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control.
* Leads events to provide analysis of economic value
* Supports a corporate-wide performance and change management culture by engaging stakeholders outside of Project Execution
