The Role * As part of the Customer Business Group, you will be the regional product specialist in the commercial organization. Developing and implementing a business development plan, while creating and pursuing new opportunities for one of Visteon's Strategic Product Lines * Conduct market research in support of the business development plan; cascading that research and plan within the CBG and greater Visteon organization * Develop high level strategic relationships with customer contacts in Advanced Research, Engineering, and Product Planning * Stay abreast of industry and market trends and understand customer needs * Drive growth in the organization partnered with the CBU, Account Management, and Product teams, leading the internal and customer requirements during the initial quoting phases of new RFXs * Play a key role in the management team as a leader in the business with a high level of visibility The Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Engineering * Must have high technical aptitude and be able to speak knowledgeably on technical applications * 7+ years of technical automotive sales experience with Automotive OEM and/or Tier One customers * 7+ years' experience in an electronics-related or other technical industry * Proven sales track record selling custom solutions identifying customer needs and building strong customer relationships * Must be a strategic thinker and able to develop strategic growth plans for highly technical electronics products * Ability to understand and identify key market trends, with strategic market development experience * Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills * High energy, teamwork, and passion for developing new business opportunities * Strong work ethic and high motivation to be an impactful individual contributor * Develop and maintain a positive relationship between the organization and our customer's functional organizations * Identify and support new business opportunities for new product development Desired Competencies: * Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering * Experience with sales analytics * Marketing and market planning knowledge * In-depth knowledge of target-market industries More Good Reasons to Work for Visteon Focusing on the Future Our company strategy focuses on emerging areas of the automotive industry, including autonomous vehicles.
