ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Operate computer, automated spraying equipment and washer system to meet quality and customer commitments.
•Operate computerized automated finishing systems.
•Clean and perform routine maintenance on system equipment, washer and other spray equipment. Change filters as required.
•Perform required titration tests on washer system.
•Spray coatings as required
•Perform start up and shutdown procedures
•Assure finishing quality by making necessary quality checks for coverage, thickness, gloss, adhesion, and color match.
•Inspect, sand, snag, and repair sheet metal components.
•Inspect produced parts for quality and quantity.
•Perform daily and preventive maintenance functions
•Keep finishing systems area, oven and booths clean and orderly
•Maintain all records as required
•Participates in standard job rotations. Perform job rotation with team members to insure proper standardized work and ergonomic safety.
•Perform all duties within established ISO and safety policies and procedures
Required Skills
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
•Must be able to work in a team environment.
•Must be able to perform all Finish System Operator - Powder Coat operations and participate in operator rotation.
•Must be able to read and understand technical manuals.
•Must pass color test.
•May be required to receive additional education and attend seminars for related training.
•Must demonstrate ability to operate finish system powder coat equipment.
