JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Initiate engineering changes in the plant and track through to implementation upon the release of Tooling/Engineering Change Request (ECR/ECO). Track process of each change, monitor the activities of team members, follow-up on delinquent responses and report excessive or continuing delinquencies.
- Coordinate implementation of all changes with production, materials, engineering, and quality departments.
- Lead meetings with all departments to coordinate and prepare for implementation
- Clarifying plans, obtaining buy-in from the plant, ensuring change points understood, validating changes implemented and clean points.
- Generate paretos & root cause analysis of top issues, add critical to quality visuals in stations
- Receive, obtain appropriate signature approvals, and track all product engineering changes in the appropriate database.
- Maintain communications with all appropriate stakeholders, engineering changes and Customer requirements.
- Retrieve and utilize engineering information such as drawings from the appropriate databases *Prepare for and attend weekly engineering change meetings.
- Assist in updating the Control Plan, PFMEA, PCF * Work with staff to achieve and maintain TS, internal audit documents and certifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
- Two (2) or more years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Good organizational and administrative skills related to documentation and record keeping.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis experience
