Manpower is current seeking a Payroll Specialist to work with one of our premier clients, La-Z-Boy, located in Monroe. This is a full-time, potential temp-to-hire position working regular business hours Monday-Friday and is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to grow their career with a well-established company. Pay rate is $24-28 per hour.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Processing payroll as assigned on a bi-weekly basis
• Processing special compensation such as bonuses, relocation, personal time, retroactive pay, and stock options/dividends as they relate to assigned process levels
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing interfaces and files, including general ledger files and Pospay
• Assisting in the review and implementation of new company processes, pay codes and deduction into the payroll system
Requirements for the position include:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or a high school diploma with 4-6 years of relevant work experience
• 0-1 years of supervisory/leadership experience
• Experience with HCM systems, i.e. Workday, Oracle
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Access
