HOURS: FULL TIME: 37 hours per week. Weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Normal work days will be Monday through Friday, with rotational weekend coverage. Shifts will generally fall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Hands out employment applications to the public. Attends employment and job recruitment fairs. Conducts applicant interviews. Conducts new hire meetings, new hire orientation meetings and pre- and post-employment drug testing. Creates postings for new or available job positions and places employment advertisements. Responds to and prints out online applications and resumes. Responsible for end of month and year end employment reports including hire source and applicant flow. Files employee documentation in personnel files. Retypes job description revisions and updates other documents as needed. Works closely under the direction of the Director of Human Resources.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or business related field and have a minimum of 2 years job experience in employment recruitment, interviewing, and other on-boarding activities. Must possess excellent typing skills with computer and spreadsheet experience. Must be able to update and create Excel reports and PowerPoint Presentations as requested. Friendly disposition and excellent interpersonal skills a must. Proper grammar and excellent communication and organizational skills required. Must be punctual and dependable. Must be able to uphold the confidentiality of personnel related information. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to work accurately and independently. Previous work experience in the hospitality services field is beneficial.
