DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities
We are hiring an individual who has expoerience in enabling, fostering, and mentoring continuous imrpovement cross-functionally within Dematic. We are now hiring for a Process Excellence Project Manager. This role will plan and administer lean principles, tools, and methodologies in a variety of Global Project Engineering & Installation process excellence projects (often technical in nature), and ensuring attainment of department strategic goals.
The role and responsibilities will include:
* Develop capabilities in applying process innovation, process excellence, lean principles and tools
* Enable, Foster, and Mentor by applying process innovation, process excellence, lean principles and tools.
* Through the use of process innovation, process excellence, lean principles will assist in achievement of program objectives.
* Create change management and leader standards in support of a lean transformation.
* Trusted resource to the Business Process Owner.
* Completes complex projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control.
* Sets process metric goals in partnership with the program manager.
* Drives process measurement including project scorecards and other metrics, which can also be used to drive process improvements.
* May develop departmental budgets and business plans for functional area.
* May evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures in own area of responsibility.
* Identifying resource needs and may develop justification.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
* May recommend/determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of company.
* May be responsible for overall success of function or project
