A day in the life Coffee Shop Manager is never the same, but for this role, you would be responsible for leading all associates in the efficient and profitable operation of the coffee shop. Responsible for managing day-today operations, maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring a positive environment which provides consistent fast, efficient and friendly service for customers. Achieves sales and profit goals established for the department.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensures and is accountable for profitability of the department by growing sales through the delivery of top-quality products and controlling costs of goods, inventory levels, labor, supplies and expenses
- Oversees all cash management functions. Able to perform all POS duties, preparation of food and beverages according to standard procedures, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintains proper loss prevention standards, reviewing cash handling procedures and managing inventory
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances
- Responsible for department management including staffing, training, scheduling, performance management and career development of associates, and developing and monitoring department goals. Develop and monitor department budget as required
Sound Like You? Here’s what you’ll need:
- Two (2) years restaurant/ food service experience required within at least one year in a lead or supervisory role
- Food Safety Certification (ServSafe) completed within 3 months required

Must work with hot, cold and hazardous equipment as well as operate phones, computers, fax machines, copiers and other office equipment.
