CNC Machinist – Router & Roll Forming Job Summary: An architectural finishing company located in Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with full set-up, adjustment and operational knowledge of CNC routing tables in a wood manufacturing or similar environment.
CNC Machinist – Router & Roll Forming Responsibilities:
- Set-up, adjust and operate a CNC router table to cut drywall products
- Ensure programs match blueprints and customer specification
- Set-up, adjust and operate steel roll forming machine
- Perform regular quality checks and ensure products are defect-free
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines
Schedule: 1st shift; 7:00 am – 3:15 pm; Overtime as required
CNC Machinist – Router & Roll Forming Qualifications:
- 2+ years setting up, adjusting and operating CNC router table (this is not an operator level position)
- Read an understand shop drawings and blueprints
- Previous experience performing preventative maintenance on CNC machines
- Ability to troubleshoot machine problems and repair as able
- Ability to read CNC programming and verify to print and material being run
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently
- Proven longevity in past positions
