DESCRIPTION Lead project and production readiness for new or existing program launches in accordance with NSK Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methods. Coordinate the implementation of project deliverables to ensure customer and NSK objectives for timing, product performance and costs targets are met. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage APQP plant deliverables for C & D projects so they are completed within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. Major focus items include facility preparation, equipment installation, customer build events, line trials, and packaging, capacity and capability studies. * Work with Program Management to further define and develop NSK Program Management * Lead with Program Management the implementation and incorporation of Microsoft Sharepoint into the business unit. * Lead and facility APQP team program status review meetings for C & D projects, prepare meeting agendas, document and track open issues to closure * Prepare project status reports for management (monthly updates and gate reviews). * Prepare and participate in project status reviews with NSK Corp customers. * Facilitate completion of functional reviews of APQP documents * Manage and track plant projects expenditures against the established budget for equipment, tooling, samples, gages and any additional expenses associated with the project. * Manage Process changes as assigned. * Develop, promote and maintain effective working relationship with customer counterparts. * Ensure compliance with TS16949 and customer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 to 4 years of position-related experience; preferably 4 to 6 years of position-related experience.
