DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tenneco, Inc. is looking for a Co-opStudent for our Ignition Engineering department that will be responsible forproviding service and support for design, analysis, engineering or otherrelated fields. This may encompass working with Application Engineers,Designers, Technical Analysts, research facility and offsite locationsincluding manufacturing plants on product design and development efforts.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who is in pursuit of aBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electrical EngineeringTechnology and demonstrates courteous, responsive and professional behaviortoward suppliers, external and internal customers to meet and exceed theirrequirements. Some computer programming skills along with good datataking and reporting skills are all necessary attributes for thisposition.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist technical analysts in conducting various routine tasks including: collecting required data for conducting analysis, construction of analysis input data files based on the collected data, conduct analysis and sensitivity study upon analyst request and prepare the analysis results for presentation report generation purposes.
- Participate in technical communication and discussion on analysis results to put his/her engineering knowledge into practice.
- Assist designers in creating solid models and drawings for various power cylinder components in appropriate format.
- Procure test parts and organize engine and rig tests as required.
- Examine components after test, analyze and report test results.
- Must be able to organize a variety of work assignments and determine most efficient process to complete each project.
REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION
- Must be enrolled in a B.S. degree program in MechanicalEngineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
