Description for the Controls Designer position:
Design electrical schematics and create electrical documentation needed to develop controls for new automation machines.
Works with Controls Engineers to create electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
Creates bill of materials and purchases electrical components.
Requirements:
Understands how to read electrical schematics.
CAD experience.
The desire to learn AutoCAD Electrical for Controls Design.
The desire to advance within the good company.
A positive attitude and ability to work well with a team of engineers and electricians.
Must be a US citizen or have a Green Card.
Desired Skills:
Electrical schematic design experience using AutoCAD Electrical or Solidworks Electrical.
Experience creating Bill of Materials and purchasing electrical components.
Controls Engineer / Technician training or knowledge.
PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting experience would be helpful.
