Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

· Caring for Pullets and/or Hens on a daily basis

· Cleaning the houses daily

· Ensuring proper water and feed levels, monitor for any water leaks

· Set up of houses for new pullets/hens as assigned

· Disinfect house and door covers as assigned

· Run limited equipment as assigned

· Perform daily/weekly calendar cleaning as assigned by management and/or supervisor

· Other duties as assigned by management

Additional Requirements

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age and willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Does not own or maintain routine contact with birds or pigs. Have the ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors and the ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs continuously throughout the day. Should be comfortable working around moving machinery and working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions.
