#989 HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER* At this time USDI is not sponsoring applicants for work visas*What you will do:-Translate product/feature/system requirements into robust Interface Specifications (software based)-Resolve issues and/or ambiguities found in specifications during the vehicle development cycle-Work with Subject Matter Experts/feature owners to define, and document, feature intent from system level down to component level expected behaviors-Identify and work with stakeholders to develop an aligned solution-Developing/reviewing project work plans
What you will need:
•Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (Note: other engineering disciplines will be considered)
•6+ years of work experience
•Strong Software Engineering/Development background preferred
•Strong background in systems engineering including physical/functional architecture
•Understanding of embedded hardware and software design
•Experience with vehicle networks
•Understanding of industry standards for networks communication and diagnostic protocols
