Orders, tracks, stocks, checks, and delivers supplies for the various departments on campus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Sort and deliver supplies for campus departments.
2. Offload and sort incoming products.
3. Retrieve and dispose of trash and recyclable product on campus.
4. Sort, log and tack all incoming packages.
5. Manage hospital inventory using the par method of inventory management.
6. Check for expired product.
7. Follow up on order issues. This includes back orders, miss picks, shortages and obtaining substitute products when required.
8. Set up new storerooms.
9. Participate in physical inventories.
10.Fill empty supply bins and organize on runner cart by location.
11.Review product expirations to ensure so expired product does not go to the floors.
12.Collect empty bins to be brought back to store room to be restocked per determined par levels.
13.Maintain cleanliness of supply rooms.
14.May operate tractor, hilo and motorized pallet jacks.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:
•High school diploma required or equivalent
•Inventory management experience preferred. Some computer experience preferred.
•Valid driver's license and license to operate tractor, hilo and other powered equipment if required for position.
• Knowledge of medical supplies or previous stock room experience. Attention to detail and ability to perform efficiently in a high volume, fast paced production environment.
